Problems with SysEx transfers have been noticed with following MIDI interfaces:

Soundblaster Audigy: some older driver versions don't work reliable, use the latest one

Tascam US-122: bytes get lost during SysEx transfer, even with the most recent windows driver version 3.3 Tascam US-122L: is OK!

Yamaha UX256: bytes get lost during SysEx transfer under WinXP and 2000 (earlier versions not tested), even with most recent MIDI drivers (Yamaha universal drivers)

ESI MIDIMATE: works unreliable for SysEx transfers under Windows XP. Plain MIDI sending/receiving seems OK.

ESI Rom I/O II: this device it's driver free, as the USB audio support in the OS automatically supports it (win & mac) but MIOS Studio don't recognize the MIDI Ports of it. The device Rom I/O 1st release work fine instead, it come with own drivers.

Behringer BCA2000: works unreliable for SysEx transfers under Windows XP. Plain MIDI sending/receiving seems OK. See the Re: Impossible to upload MIOS thread for details.

Behringer BCR2000: works unreliable for SysEx transfers under OS X (10.5). Plain MIDI sending/receiving seems OK.

M-Audio Keystation Pro 88: works unreliable for SysEx transfers under Windows XP. Plain MIDI sending/receiving seems OK. See the Re: Impossible to upload MIOS thread for details.

CME VX 5: works unreliable for SysEx transfers under OS X (10.5). Suspected SysEx filtering. Plain MIDI sending/receiving seems OK.

Access Virus TI Polar: works unreliable for SysEx transfers under OS X (10.5). Suspected SysEx filtering. Plain MIDI sending/receiving seems OK.

SWISSONIC MIDI-USB 1×1 works unreliable for SysEx transfers under Windows (e.g. Buffer overrun messages during code upload)
