I built this board partly because I was having trouble building it on a prototype board. I based it off of the BankStick x8 schematic available from ucapps with minor modifications. I call it 7-1 because 7 chips can be placed on the board itself, with an optional header to make it possible to hook up an external BankStick. | I built this board partly because I was having trouble building it on a prototype board. - | This is a work-in-progress. It is an alternative to a C64 power supply and will supply +5 and +9V from a 9 or 12VAC transformer. Stepping down the heat is done via power resistors and heatsinks. So far, the protoboard design powers my MB-6582 nicely so I will eventually make a power board for it though may add to it +12V/-12V as an option (since I want to add an additional filter to my MB-6582). | + | * [[gm5x5x5_-_allied_parts_list|GM5x5x5 Allied Electronics Parts List]] |

- | This is another situation where I figured it would be easier to have a board printed than try to wire something up on a protoboard. This board is for the Modulation Matrix part of the MidiBox-SID [[http:// |
